When I got home I got to see Cathy from out of town along with Nicole and Mindy and had more warm hugs. Then Deb dropped in on her way back to the lake and made me some medicinal Chaga and Rhishi tea. Did you know that all mushrooms that grow on trees are medicinal? She took a course on medicinal herbs that grow in the wild while in Cambridge last year and also gifted me with one of her tinctures of Cleaver which is an herb that is a powerful blood purifier. I am also still taking Essiac (herbal tea mixture) made famous by Nurse Cassie in the 1950's. My source who makes it I met many years ago and is still mixing that remedy today. She also gave me several names of stage IV survivors who I had met in a studio audience 25 years ago that are still alive today taking the Essiac daily after the doctors had given them no more hope. Even at a stage 2 I have tried to be extremely aggressive at all angles that don't tear down my immune system or weaken the body. I am interested in things that only attack abnormal cells and spare the healthy ones....that seems logical to me and is my basic philosophy in a nut shell:) Last night, another friend who is a survivor, Hope came by with dinner to check in on me and we will always share this unique bond together, knowing ways we approach it are very individual for each of us.
I also received a few deliveries of gorgeous flowers to keep me cheerful. So once again, I feel surrounded by love, surrounded by friendship, surrounded by hope, and looking forward to the future. Later this week, I will learn more about the pathology results specifically and cross that bridge. Right now in this moment, I feel like I am on the right path to strengthening my body, mind, and spirit and there is divine intervention I feel guiding me! This immune system is changing and creating an environment where no abnormal cells will be able to survive...
