I am on my way to Mass General now for the surgery. Feeingl good and strong:)
My day yesterday began with a teacher at my kids school Wendy, who came by with fresh kale chips, summer squash, sugar snap peas and eggs to start my day! She proceeded to spend several hours out in my garden weeding it. A close friend, Robyn stopped by to help. It was a job because I planted it with Jim on Memorial Day weekend and have not had time to do much since my diagnosis. She wanted me to have a peaceful place to sit when I get home from the hospital.
I went to Portsmouth for a IV of Vitamin C and did hyperbaric oxygen chamber, accupuncture ass well as colonics to be sure my colon was clean as a prep for today. Before heading back home, I spoke with my friend Barbara who is traveling doing an art tour and she offered to drive from Philly to be there at the hospital for energetic support. I teared up and thanked her, she is a soul sister to me and we share a strong mutual understanding of spirituality and bond.
When I got home, my friend Angela was there tidying up my bedroom so I would have a nice fresh space to recover. As I said before, I continue to be touched by my friends and I feel surrounded by love.
So surgery prep starts at 8:00am, surgery at 11:00am and it should last about 5 hours. Thanks for sending healing thoughts and prayers my way today.! Love and Hugs to you all!
